CHILDREN'S MINISTRY
頌恩堂雲端教會的兒童事工在2020年八月正式推出，由數位專業兒童教育/發展的老師負責，把培養小心靈發展的精選兒童益智故事，通過動畫和多聲道閱讀，並把故事的教導，並配合聖經金句與兒童分享；還有互動問與答及為朋友家人代禱環節。敬迎四至八歲小朋友和家長參加。需要預先報名。
Bedtime Storytelling is conducted via Zoom. Privacy and security are our highest requirements. Registration is required and joining the storytelling time is controlled.
Tuesday Bedtime Storytelling and Prayers are specially prepared for children ages 4-8. Carefully reviewed and picked story books with animation are read by teachers specialized in childhood education and development. The moral of the story coupled with key verse from the Bible will be shared with the children. Interactive question and answer and prayer request time are added to share and care for one another as a community.
2021年母親節禮物背後的故事
The Story behind the 2021 Mother's Day Gift
Did COVID-19 dampen our spirit to live each day fully? Did COVID-19 slow down our desire to serve God’s people? Did COVID-19 stop us from engaging technology in our weekly Sunday Worship, Sunday School, Praise Songs, and Children’s Bedtime Storytelling production? Our answers are no, no, and no. COVID instead inspired us to "Come Out Victorious In Deeds" (our acronym for COVID 😊) – we did more, a lot more than what we would have done within four walls. It turned out COVID helped us tear down walls, cross international boundaries and build a network of digital communications to all corners of the world, with over 5,000 website visits and 10,000 web pages viewed from 25 countries in one year.
Many were crying we can’t do this, we can’t do that. Sunday Services were stopped. Church ministry programs dwindled. With true faith and trust in the Lord and led by visionary leaders to build the first cloud church in March 2020, the Loving Grace Church was born and was blessed to have a great team of serving brother/sisters ready to listen, learn and do their best for each Sunday’s ‘offering’ (i.e. Sunday worship, praise songs and Sunday School) to the Lord. Our pastors can do their video recordings and post-production of their video files for use in live streaming. Their work, efforts and messages are not in vain, for their labour of love are available 24/7 globally from the church responsive website.
Since August 2020, we started our Children’s Ministry running a Tuesday night Children’s Bedtime Storytelling and Prayers program for kids 4-8 years old. We have a regular attendance of 7-10 kids. Our team gave this ministry a mega project to 'craft' a Mother’s Day gift to all Moms of the church and Mom’s worldwide. It’s COVID that made us come out victorious in deeds - we produced a video storybook on ‘I Love You through Winter, Spring, Summer and Fall’ based on a very poetically written and well-illustrated children’s storybook by our dear children’s book author Junia Wonders.

我們兒童事工的『睡前故事和禱告』節目，每星期二晚上會為孩子們唸一個故事，很多時候我們會為故事加上一些對話，讓故事更活潑、生動。前一陣子我們找到一本講爸爸媽媽對孩子的愛的書，覺得很適合在母親節唸，後來又想要是能夠讓這些孩子們參與故事的製作，然後作為一份母親節禮物送給媽媽們，應該更有意義。
但究竟能不能夠順利進行，我們最初也沒有十足把握，因為不知道孩子願不願意配合，但抱著有主與我們同工的信心，我們就開始了這個母親節禮物的製作。
感謝神，我們不但順利完成了這本書的錄製，而且效果比我們想像中更理想，因為我們不單有小朋友的參與，還找來幾位爸爸媽媽和一些大朋友跟我們一起同工。故事裡孩子的聲音都是參加我們睡前故事的小朋友們扮演的，成人的角色就由多位弟兄姊妹扮演。所以這是一個百分百的頌恩堂兒童事工產品。
這本書叫 I Love You Through Winter, Spring, Summer and Fall, 直翻就是“我愛你春夏秋冬”，也就是“四季不變的愛”。書講的是父母的愛，但其實也象徵天父對我們循環不息、無處不在的愛。雖然故事是英文的，但那些有四季景色的美麗插圖，孩子們天真的對話，相信不完全聽懂英語的朋友們也能感受到故事的溫暖。

In our Bedtime Stories and Prayer Program, we read a new story with the kids every Tuesday night. To add interest and more drama to the story, we often create speech bubbles for the characters and do role play on top of the narration.
When we came across the book “I Love You Through Winter, Spring, Summer and Fall” by Junia Wonders, we decided it would be an excellent choice for the week of Mother’s Day. We then thought how delightful it would be if we could get the kids to help with the dialogue in the story and then present the recording as a Mother’s Day gift to all the Moms.
It was a bold endeavour, as we were not sure if the kids would co-operate or be able to follow our instructions properly. Armed with the faith that God is the sustainer of our ministry, we went ahead with the project. We also invited some adults in our congregation to help with the adult voices. As it turned out, we completed this wonderful project with results that exceeded our expectations. And it was done in-house from top to bottom.
This beautiful book tells of the all-encompassing love of parents through the seasons, but it also reflects the unchanging and everlasting love of our Heavenly Father. The book is read in English, but even for those who may not understand the language well, the cute young voices and whimsical illustrations of the seasons will still make this story very enjoyable.
