成長、生命、信心 …都發生在一小步一小步之間 Growth, Life, Faith... all happen one small step at a time

今早，我看著花園裡嫩綠的 Hosta 葉子慢慢展開，讓我想起三個我們在忙碌生活中常常忽略的靜默真理。

 成長……一個細胞一個細胞地發生。

大自然從不急躁，卻萬事皆成。一個細胞在看不見的地方分裂、伸展、增長。我們也是如此。真正的成長往往不轟轟烈烈，而是默默地、緩慢地、耐心地發生，最終從內而外改變我們。

 生命……一步一步走出來。

有時我們會覺得必須把一切都計畫妥當，但生命不是競賽，而是一段小小、忠心的旅程。有的腳步輕鬆，有的陡峭，每一步都在教導我們勇氣、信任與恩典。

 信心……一個禱告一個禱告地累積。

信心不是一夜之間建立起來的。像輕聲細語，又像向天舉起的禱告，每一次將心轉向神，我們的信心就更堅固。一個禱告或許無法立刻改變世界，但它會改變我們，而奇蹟，就是這樣開始的。

今天，邀請你一起欣賞這「一點一滴」的美麗，不論是細胞、腳步或禱告。慶祝你的每一個小勝利，珍惜那看似不起眼的進步，並記得，在每個微小的時刻，神都同在。

This morning, as I looked at the tender young Hosta leaves unfurling in my garden, I was reminded of three quiet truths we often overlook in our fast-paced world.

 Growth… a cell at a time.

Nature never hurries, yet everything is accomplished. A single cell divides, stretches, and multiplies quietly beneath the surface. It’s the same with us. True growth is not always dramatic; often, it’s hidden, slow, and patient. But over time, it transforms us from within.

 Life… a step at a time.

We sometimes feel pressured to have it all figured out. But life is not a race; it’s a journey of small, faithful steps. Some steps are easy, others are uphill. But each step teaches us something valuable—about courage, trust, and grace.

 Faith… a prayer at a time.

Faith isn’t built overnight. Like a gentle whisper or a single prayer lifted heavenward, it grows stronger each time we turn our hearts to God. One prayer may not change the world instantly, but it changes us—and that’s how miracles begin.

Today, I invite you to embrace the beauty of the 'one at a time'—whether it’s a cell, a step, or a prayer. Celebrate your little victories. Honour the quiet progress. And remember, God is present in every small moment.
