Death Brings Hope: From Fading Bloom to Living Seed ...
The Amaryllis flowers are drying and fading, yet four seed pods now stand in their place — quiet signs that life is continuing, and something new is beginning. In six to eight weeks, the pods will crack open. Once the seeds have fully dried, they can be gently shaken out, and each one carries the beginning of a new baby Amaryllis. There is hope in this whole process: one day, a new Amaryllis will emerge from the soil to greet the eye again.
So it is with the hope of the Gospel. What seems like an ending is not always the end. In Christ, death gives way to new life, and through His resurrection comes salvation hope for mankind.
“Unless a kernel of wheat falls to the ground and dies, it remains only a single seed. But if it dies, it produces many seeds.” — John Chapter 12 verse 24
✨ Ponder this:
Maybe what feels like failure today is only a beginning in disguise. A person may struggle with making PowerPoint slides and feel frustrated at every step, yet with the will to learn and the patience to keep practising, what once seemed impossible slowly becomes achievable.
Could it be that some of our hardest places are where God is quietly growing new strength, new skill, and new life in us?
